Sapply adds Kemp's pay-as-you-go pricing model

Sydney distributor Sapply is offering load balancer firm Kemp Technologies’ new pay-as-you-go pricing model Metred Enterprise Licensing (MELA).

The scalable pricing model allows application delivery controllers be paid for only what customers use which can help avoid over-provisioning.

“Feedback from our clients over our last few years working with Kemp suggest this is going to be an extremely popular subscription offer,” Sapply sales director Gordon Taylor said.

“It ticks all the boxes, allowing efficiency, scalability and an extremely robust ADC solution that supports enterprises to grow without risking over provisioning.”

The pricing model has no upfront costs and businesses will have access to unlimited Loadmaster ADC deployments to assist in scaling needs when demand increases.

The model was announced by Kemp in November last year, shortly before the appointment of Luke Holland as its ANZ country manager. He previously held the channel manager post from 2015.

“We are extremely pleased to once again be at the forefront of providing innovative and customer focussed solutions to clients looking for flexible, scalable and proven ADC offerings,” Holland said.
