Robinson believes there will be significant growth opportunities across the industry in coming years with the development of the National Broadband Network.
The company is also exploring new business models with telcos that will enable it to make partnerships and take joint products to market.

Tim Ebbeck, president & CEO, SAP A/NZ said SAP has deep vertical telecommunications industry expertise and combining this with Robinson's knowledge of the Australian telecommunications industry meant it was a strong position to provide real value to the telco sector.
Robinson will continue to be based in Melbourne. He joined SAP in 1995 and for a number of years contributed to SAP's growth before leaving to spend four years at Tibco and Bearing Point.
He returned to SAP in 2005.
