Not all of us are giants with spade-like hands – a fact that Samsung has duly noted. Step up, the Galaxy Pocket – a 2.8in screened smartphone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread that shouldn't make too much of a dent in either your bank account or, well… your pocket.
This budget blower has lower end specs with a 832MHz processor, 2MP rear camera and 3GB of memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD). But there's still a lot to like – Sammy's TouchWiz UI on top of Android 2.3 and a Social Hub to bring together ChatON messaging and your social networks. Plus at just 97g, it won't trouble your guns overmuch.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Pocket will be available later in the year, with no pricing available as yet. But chances are the Galaxy Pocket will come in at a pretty good-looking price – which should make this mini phone look mighty tempting to fans of teeny tiny gadgets.
