RSA plans to include government risk and compliance software in its SecurWorld partner program by early next year, the company said in a channel update announcement.
Partners who already sell the software by Archer Technologies, which EMC acquired in January, will be free to continue. Interested SecurWorld partners will be certified will by next year.
"At the moment SecurWorld covers the two-factor authentication products secureID, Authentication Manager, the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Suite and the RSA's enVision platform," Gavin Jarvis, channel and program operations manager, Asia Pacific and Japan, said. "That will change in 2011."
Meanwhile, RSA announced that it has refreshed its partner portal to provide centralised access to tools and resources including online training capabilities, a virtual demo centre and fast start training curriculum for RSA products and the RSA SecurWorld program.
RSA has also flagged its intention to increase its focus on managed security services providers (MSSPs).
Jarvis said RSA has a series of documents and implementation guides that "detail how to take both SecureID to market as a managed service and how to implement it".
"At this stage we're letting partners know we're building the program. We've had expressions of interest about the MSSP program and we'll be expanding that out in the next few months," Jarvis said.
