Cloud licensing provider Rhipe – previously NewLease – has appointed current CEO Dominic O’Hanlon as managing director.

O’Hanlon will hold both roles concurrently, taking on director responsibilities as well as his existing leadership position.

He joined Rhipe as CEO in August 2014 after six and a half years as CEO of Flare Ventures.

O'Hanlon spent time as chief strategy officer of MYOB before it was sold to Bain Capital, and also sold his company, Haley Limited, to Oracle in 2009.

Four months after he joined Rhipe, it acquired nSynergy, a Microsoft Office 365, Azure and Sharepoint consultancy, for $25.35 million.

Rhipe’s revenue grew 45 percent to $74.5 million in the 2014 financial year, after going public via a reverse takeover.
