Renault launching R-Link tablet for cars in 2012

Renault wants to entertain you – the car manufacturer is launching R-Link, an in-car tablet with its own app store and cloud connectivity.

Launching in late 2012, the R-Link will feature a custom UI for quick access to multimedia, TomTom LIVE GPS navigation and vehicle statistics. You'll also get access to the R-Link store, which will feature 50 apps available for download at launch, including 'parking social network' Apila.

The R-Link will be included as standard on the Renault Zoe and Clio, and will be available as an option on all forthcoming Renault cars.
