Sydney distributor Rectron Electronics will bring memory and storage products from Avexir to the Australian channel.
Taiwanese company Avexir is a global vendor of PC gaming memory and flash-based storage products.
"Avexir offers a strong compliment to Rectron's portfolio, with high-end gaming RAM product line matching the demand from our reseller partners," Rectron head of product managers and sales Kenneth Tse said.
Rectron Electronics joins Mittoni as the second Australian distributor for Avexir.
Among the products Rectron Electronics will distribute are Avexir Red Tesla – ROG certified edition (pictured), specifically designed for Asus Republic of gamers series motherboards.
Eric Yao, global sales director at Avexir said: "This partnership delivers real synergies, since our primary focus is innovation in high performance memory products. We see Rectron as a key strategic partner, which is performing exceptionally in the PC gaming market."
Rectron distributes products from numerous vendors, including AOC, Cooler Master, Gigabyte and Razer. The distributor has offices and warehouses in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
In November 2015, Rectron Electronics was acquired by specialist solutions provider IG3 Education. The combined company had 42 employees at the time of the acquisition.
