The Reserve Bank of Australia (the Bank) is inviting expressions of interest for establishing a panel of up to five suppliers to provide system integration (SI) and IT managed services (MS) for a list of technologies.
The Bank intends to conduct a multi-stage competitive tender process to procure the supply, with the purpose of this Request for Expression of Interest stage (Stage 1) being to identify a shortlist of capable respondents.
The shortlisted respondents may then be invited by the Bank to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal stage (Stage 2) where they will have the opportunity to submit proposals for the supply.
The list of technologies will be shared in Stage 2 of the tender process.
Services may be delivered onshore and offshore, depending on the Bank’s risk tolerance for the technology. Orders can be made for fixed priced, outcome-based work or Time & Materials for short periods of time.
Respondents must demonstrate compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 certification; or a completed SOC 2 Type II audit report within the last 18 months; or evidence of an IRAP assessment conducted within the last 24 months.
Respondents also need to provide services for at least three out of six stages in terms of system integration services, two of which must be ‘design’ and ‘build’; provide at least twelve out of twenty four roles at senior or principal level, one of which must be DevOps engineers; and provide system integration delivery for at least 50% of technologies under either the Infrastructure or Application subheading.
The close date for expressions of interest is 2:00 pm (ACT Local Time) on 13 October 2025.
Already in 2025, the RBA has gone to market for an audit management tool to support its internal review operations; a strategic software reseller arrangement to consolidate software licenses and technologies; a managed service provider to support its Enterprise Data Platform; and a system integrator to provide application migration services.
