IT services provider PS&C has acquired Melbourne-based Salesforce implementation partner Artisan Consulting.
The move aims to bolster PS&C’s Salesforce capabilities and ability to better compete for larger projects with the added resources.
Artisan focuses on Salesforce implementations, which involve multiple inter-dependent Salesforce clouds, system integrations, communities or business units, delivery phases and custom development.
PS&C acquired Artisan with a mixture of cash and PS&C shares, and expects the acquisition to provide a small contribution to the company’s 2019 financial year results.
Late last year, PS&C sold off its Allcom Networks business to Sydney managed services provider Crosspoint Telecommunications for $3.2 million. The move was part of PS&C’s increased focus on security and consulting, as Allcom faced tougher competition in communications services.
