Polycom launches telepresence room rental

Comprising the Polycom RealPresence Experience and Polycom Telepresence Experience, executives have an alternative way of hiring Polycom's facilities for virtual meetings.

As part of the program, organisations can hire a RPX or TPX facility on either an hourly or monthly subscription-based rental plan.

Site rental is available in seven APAC cities (Singapore, Sydney, Beijing, Tokyo, New Delhi, Seoul and Hong Kong), with more locations planned later this year. 

"The life-sized, life-like immersive telepresence rooms create a virtual meeting experience that is so realistic, remotely located participants truly feel that they are all situated in the same room," said Hansjoerg Wagner, vice president and managing director, Polycom APAC. 

"The quality of Polycom's visual communication solutions is so good, that a recent survey by IDC found our customers have improved their productivity by an average of 30 per \cent and increased their collaboration by an average of 35 percent," he added.
