Akkasha Sultan has been appointed senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan at Ping Identity.
Most recently, he has held leadership roles across Salesforce and Tableau, including VP of Agentforce & Data Cloud in ANZ, area VP for key ASEAN markets, and GM for Tableau’s Analytics and AI business.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Microsoft and Oracle, helping build and scale businesses across Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Sultan will spearhead Ping Identity’s business strategy and market expansion across APJ.
He will oversee all regional operations, focusing on driving revenue growth and deepening enterprise client relationships as organisations navigate significant digital transformations.
“Organisations across APJ are rapidly moving from AI experimentation to deployment, and identity and governance will be critical to realising AI’s value safely,” said Sultan.
“I look forward to working with our customers, partners, and teams to help them navigate that transformation while driving growth across the region.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Akkasha to Ping Identity to lead our APJ organisation during this phase of rapid expansion,” said Adnan Chaudhry, CRO at Ping Identity.
“Enterprises across APJ are rapidly moving AI into production, creating new requirements for identity, governance, and trust. Akkasha’s experience scaling high-growth businesses across the region will help accelerate our next phase of growth and support customers as they navigate the AI era.”
