Chris Petersen, manager A/NZ Channel Alliances and Partners said over 140 partners and customers attended the Sheraton on the Park on Tuesday 24th February.

They heard keynotes from both ECM Suite and Open Text/SAP customers, John Brand of Hydrasight, Microsoft, and Open Text senior management team who presented the company a product roadmap and future vision for Web 2.0.

"Late last month, Open Text staged its inaugural Australia/New Zealand Content Day for customers and partners in Sydney showcasing the full breadth of Enterprise Content Management solutions the company has to offer the local market following recent R&D and acquisition activity," said Petersen.

"The conference sessions were rounded out by an exhibition showcase highlighting both the company's flagship and new solution offerings all under the one roof, including Digital Asset Management, Content Migration, Email Solutions, Capture and Delivery, Web Solutions, Contracts Lifecycle Management and ECM for SAP (the SAP partnership entails an agreement whereby SAP resells Open Text solutions).
 
"A special Content Day preview was held exclusively for partners on 23rd February at a drinks event hosted at the company's brand new Asia Pacific headquarters at 80 Pacific Highway, North Sydney," he added.

Open Text partners from A/NZ attended including 5Limes, Advanced Records Management, Alphawest, Amtel Communications, Axe Group, Axient, Bluelink, Byte Information Technology, CPS Technology Group, Deloitte Eclipse, Docscorp, ESRI, Fastman, Fuji Xerox, Hitachi Data Systems, Hyro, Immersive, KMCentric, Knowledge Partners, Logica, SAP, Star Solutions, Stonebridge Systems, Window Logic and Zynet.

The Content Day roadshow travelled from Tokyo to Sydney and ended in Singapore on 27 February.
