Nestled in the warm surrounds of the first floor of the infamous Toaster building, award winning restaurant Aria offered Logitech's guests stunning views of the Opera House and out across Sydney Harbour.
For its first Alto Awards of Excellence event, Logitech assembled 50 of its channel and retail partners who have excelled in driving sales of the vendor's range of computer and gaming accessories.
The evening began with guests socialising while being treated to a cornucopia of cocktails and colourful canapés. Attendees then moved inside to Aria’s private dining room for a specially designed meal created by celebrity chef and Aria co-owner, Matt Moran.
Martin Geh, Logitech’s vice president for Asia Pacific, flew in specially for the night. He thanked his Australian team - “the best team in Asia Pacific” – as well as the winners for their contribution to and support of the Logitech brand.
“We are facing difficult times and during these times is when the real champions will emerge. I think that the people who are here, the companies represented here, are the ones who are going to be able to continue to win and will do even better in this kind of a down cycle.”
General manager of Logitech Australia and New Zealand, George Saad, said the awards night was symbolic of the strong relationship between Logitech and its channel partners.
“The Alto Awards provides the perfect opportunity to showcase and acknowledge the efforts of businesses and individuals who consistently support our brand and form a part of the Logitech family. As key contributors to Logitech’s success we wanted to take the time to formally recognise our trade partners and what they have achieved over the last year.”
The following companies all won an Alto award:
CDM Computers, Centre Com, Dick Smith Electronics, JB Hi Fi, Officeworks, Big W, Harvey Norman, ITOne Group, Umart Online, Alepine Peripherals, WOW Sight and Sound, LDS International, Computers and Parts Land, Ocean Office Automation, , PLE Computers, The Good Guys, WL Enterprise
