WAN applications vendor Packeteer appointed Tony Edwards as territory manager for New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
Edwards is responsible for providing support for Packeteer's reseller partners in those regions and would report to Bede Hackney, Packeteer's country manager for A/NZ.
Hackney said, Edwards’ position is a new role and was part of Packeteer's strategy to dedicate support resources for partners and customers.
"Tony's previous experience as a Packeteer product manager within the IT channel is a great asset,” he said.
Before joining Packeterr, Edwards worked for Concord Communications as business development manager. He also holds a Bachelor of International Business and an Associate Degree in IT.
