Sydney distributor Orca Tech has partnered with Forcepoint to offer its range of security products to enterprise and government customers.
Orca will have access to the full range of Forcepoint's security solutions, which includes data loss prevention, inside threat, web security, email security and firewall.
It's the third vendor Orca has lured over since launching in April. The company signed on Malwarebytes as its first security partner, followed by vArmour.
Orca ANZ marketing director Jelena Milosevic said customers need to focus more on protecting human points of interaction, rather than infrastructure.
“Our customers face a rapidly evolving threat landscape. While many solutions on the market today focus on defending the perimeter, this partnership with Forcepoint enables us to offer our customers a new opportunity to implement a system of solutions that work together to eliminate cybersecurity blind spots everywhere. We are excited to bring our customers a differentiated, people-centric approach to security,” she said.
Forcepoint country manager Guy Eilon said: “Forcepoint’s partnership with Orca Tech will help our customers protect their employees, critical business data and intellectual property by detecting and eliminating risky cyber behaviours. Orca Tech has a proven track record in delivering value to their partner network and an exceptional reputation in the security market.”
Forcepoint was formerly known as Raytheon Websense before rebranding in January 2016. The company is a joint venture between US defence giant Raytheon and Vista Equity Partners.
