Optus Wholesale has bolstered its NBN offering and announced state-based, national and hybrid aggregation models and hybrid fibre co-axial (HFC) NBN access.
Optus head of marketing and strategy John Castro said the telco saw significant opportunity in the wholesale NBN segment.
Sydney-based telecommunications services provider The Grex Group will use Optus' NBN offering.
In July 2016, Optus signed an exclusive agreement with Sydney ISP SpinTel for wholesale NBN access via its residential broadband.
"Optus Wholesale is also one of the first wholesalers to offer HFC to customers following a successful commercial test pilot," Castro said.
Optus offers connectivity to the 121 points of interconnect on the NBN at eight commercial data centre locations in four states.
According to the telco, through its new network architecture, customers can access NBN by connecting from their network to aggregated virtual circuits from data centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, with an Adelaide centre also earmarked.
