OKI recruits channel manager from Samsung
Judy Wilson

OKI Data Australia has named Judy Wilson in the newly created position of channel manager for buying groups.

The position was established to recognise buying groups as channel partners. Wilson will be based in Sydney and will also be responsible for developing new partner opportunities.

Wilson has 20 years of experience in the IT industry and was previously channel manager at Samsung Electronics for more than three years, where, according to OKI, she developed and implemented innovative market strategies and programs that supported significant growth in channel sales.

Prior to that, Wilson held business development roles at Ingram Micro and at Express Data. She also worked at Hewlett Packard for five years as channel account manager, where she was responsible for managing partner and reseller relationships.

"We are delighted to welcome Judy to our team. Her experience and success in supporting channel partner growth and implementing innovative reseller programs will be an invaluable asset," OKI Data Australia sales manager Greg Mikaelian said.

"At the same time, she will provide a great source of knowledge and expertise, in helping to reinforce our presence and business share within the buying group sector of the printer channel."
