Nutanix’s Australian outpost looks to be bulking up its channel team, as indicated by a new job ad for a “brand new opportunity” of becoming its ANZ distribution manager.
The hyperconverged upstart already has a regional distribution manager in place. Now it looks like the company wants more local focus.
Nutanix’s recent decision to add Dicker Data to its local distie list, alongside Tech Data, Exclusive Networks and Arrow ECS, means it can probably use more feet on the ground.
The ad even half-hints at Nutanix being keen on adding more disties, saying “This is a fantastic opportunity to really develop, create and build our channel distribution partnerships across the ANZ sector.”
The successful applicant must have Salesforce experience, at least five years in the channel under their belts and “be willing to work extended hours during end of quarters”.
In return for possessing those skills and a sparkling personality that fits in with Nutanix’s “fast-paced, constantly changing environment”, the successful applicant gets to do all of the following tasks:
- Engage closely with Distributor and Partners for following up on PO’s and any quote issues
- Bi-weekly cadence calls with distributors on DR, pipeline creation, activities etc.
