Global IT services provider NTT DATA has expanded its partnership with cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks to deliver comprehensive threat protection for enterprises.
The collaboration introduces NTT DATA's new Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) service, which leverages Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSIAM platform to provide continuous monitoring, detection and rapid response capabilities.
The AI-driven XSIAM platform transforms security operations centers by automating processes and accelerating incident remediation.
This allows the combined service to address the growing sophistication of cyber threats and the shortage of skilled security professionals.
"Many organisations rely on fragmented security systems, making it harder to detect advanced threats, and react quickly," Sheetal Mehta, global head of cybersecurity at NTT DATA said.
"By partnering with Palo Alto Networks, we're delivering a unified solution that strengthens cyber resilience, streamlines security operations and improves overall agility."
The partnership targets industries such as manufacturing, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, providing edge-to-cloud security, AI-powered threat detection and simplified management through a single platform.
"Organisations today are facing an unprecedented volume of sophisticated cyber threats, across their entire operations," Kristy Friedrichs, chief partnerships officer at Palo Alto Networks said.
"With NTT DATA, we are helping organisations transform their SOC through platformisation with XSIAM and expert services."
NTT DATA said it has over 7500 cybersecurity professionals globally.
