NSW Police, Fujitsu in $14m CAD contract
The new system will provide NSW Police with access to information for in-the-field decision-making. It will also facilitate the management of 000 calls and incorporates real-time graphical displays.

Rod Vawdrey, chief executive officer, Fujitsu A/NZ, said the Fujitsu product had been designed to integrate with other operational and intelligence systems, like Records Systems and SAP, that underpin Police activities in NSW.

The system will also be integrated with other emergency services systems to enable the coordinated dispatch of resources and incident management across Federal, inter-state and NSW services, said Vawdrey.

Fujitsu has begun working on the implementation of the CAD system with NSW Police, which is expected to go live in mid-2007.
