Melbourne's Nova IT Group has added more than 20 new customers and 900 endpoints by acquiring IT services company CMI Australia.
Founded in 1991, CMI Australia specialises in remote support and managed IT services, as well as remote server, desktop and network management and maintenance.
CMI owner Philip King will step back from the business to take on new opportunities. CMI's customers were transferred to Nova IT in December, when the acquisition was finalised.
Nova IT managing director David Vidos said it was an honour to be entrusted with CMI Australia's long-time customer base.
“This acquisition expands our presence and helps us reach our goal of becoming the largest MSP in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, we also look forward to introducing these customers to our large range of business improvement solutions,” he said.
“Nova IT was founded in 2003 and this acquisition is the first for 2017 with another one already in the works. It is our aim to become the IT partner of choice for local businesses. I also want to offer IT professionals a place to do what they love without having to travel hours just to get to work.”
