Data centre operator NEXTDC announced it has received a certification in the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre program, which is the American company's combined hardware and software solution for unified artificial intelligence development.
A DGX-Ready Data Centre qualification enables NEXTDC to support and guide Australian organisations through digital infrastructure architectures designed to optimise NVIDIA AI platforms.
The certification grants NEXTDC access to a range of NVIDIA infrastructure options for its AI data centres.
It means the data centre operator can deliver powerful solutions for advanced computing while addressing AI infrastructure challenges related to facilities planning, high-density power distribution, and innovative liquid-cooling solutions.
NEXTDC's network of AI data centres now offers AI-ready facilities with agile, adaptable, and sustainable infrastructure to meet customer requirements for higher power densities and innovative heat extraction.
"NEXTDC is investing in the ongoing delivery of AI data centres for every sector in Australia, including government, enterprise and, of course, our extensive ecosystem of partners, including global cloud providers," David Dzienciol, chief customer and commercial officer at NEXTDC said.
"Through the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre program, NEXTDC offers enterprises a cost-effective solution that provides access to state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive services to help enterprises rapidly scale AI initiatives across their organisations," Tony Paikeday, senior director of AI systems at NVIDIA said.
