Nexifi, a technology, engineering and product consultancy, has merged with Idea Science, a Sydney-based CRM and customer experience (CX) specialist, to form the Nexifi Group.
With more than 100 specialists across Australia and the Philippines, the group is set to combine expertise in CX, digital and product, cloud and DevOps, CRM, and data and AI.
The merger follows a period of collaboration between the two organisations that began last year, during which partnering extended across their joint portfolios to deliver outcomes for a growing number of shared customers.
The Nexifi Group's co-founders – Rob Frendo, Carl Rigoni and Peter Drum – will lead the combined organisation, with Frendo as group CEO, Rigoni leading the CX & Digital practice, and Drum leading the CRM practice as well as group CTO duties.
The expanded organisation will operate through four specialist practice groups.
The CX, Digital & Product group will be tasked with designing customer-centric experiences, products and operating models that improve engagement and accelerate business growth, while the Cloud & DevOps group will aim to deliver secure, scalable cloud platforms and modern engineering practices that enable faster, more reliable software delivery.
The CRM group will focus on implementing and optimising customer relationship management platforms to strengthen sales, service and marketing performance, with the Data & AI group having a remit of unlocking the value of data through advanced analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive smarter business decisions.
Frendo said technology is no longer the differentiator — outcomes are.
"By bringing together deep expertise in customer experience, product discipline, cloud, data and AI, we’ve created a business that can help organisations move faster, make better decisions and realise the full value of AI," he said.
"That’s the opportunity this merger creates for our customers.”'
