Enterprise communications provider Verizon Business has appointed Mark Trumble as its head of cybersecurity sales for the Asia-Pacific region.
Trumble brings long experience to Verizon Business, and was most recently the general manager of professional services and market solutions at Sydney network security vendor Infotrust.
Infotrust was bought by Spirit Technology Solutions in February last year.
Trumble has also held senior roles with NTT and Fujitsu.
In his new role, Trumble will head up a team of cybersecurity specialists in the region, to address the increasingly complex requirements of Verizon's enterprise and government customers.
"The Asia-Pacific region in particular continues to face a surge in sophisticated cyber threats such as espionage and vulnerability exploitations,” Robert Le Busque, regional vice president, Asia Pacific for Verizon Global Group said.
“Mark’s deep expertise and leadership will enable businesses and governments across the region to strengthen their resilience and confidently navigate the demands of a rapidly evolving technology landscape with Verizon," Le Busque added.
