Storage management software vendor, Acronis has signed a distribution agreement with NetWorld Systems, a business unit of Distribution Central Pty Limited.
Under the agreement, NetWorld Systems will distribute the entire range of Acronis products, focusing on the small to medium business and enterprise markets in ANZ.
The initial plan is to bundle the Acronis software with Netgear’s ReadyNAS product for SME and enterprise customers. The first joint reseller event will be held in Sydney on August 14, followed by a training session hosted by Acronis in September.
Nick Verykios, marketing director of NetWorld Systems said Acronis offers storage and disaster recovery solution that enhances NetWorld System’s networking and infrastructure portfolio and offers better solutions for the end user.
Bill Taylor-Mountford, general manager of Acronis ANZ said the vendor chose NetWorld because it was impressed by its business model.
“With NetWorld Systems, Acronis is able to cover a broader geographical area, increasing our penetration into the SMB/SME and enterprise market sectors,” he said.
Acronis opened its office in North Sydney on 17 July to provide customer support and respond more quickly to local market demands. Acronis enterprise customers in ANZ include VicRoads, BHP, Redcliffe City Council and City of Port Adelaide.
