Network video vendor Axis Communications has appointed electronic security distributor Central Security Distribution (CSD) to supply its full range of solutions.
CSD will distribute Axis’ full selection of network cameras, video encoders and other IP surveillance equipment.
“This partnership extends our reach right across the country, but will have a particular impact on regional areas of Australia via CSD’s wide network of highly experienced business development managers,” Axis ANZ country manager Wai King Wong said.
“The move gives us another very high-touch reseller partner with a team that is capable of solving complex surveillance challenges.”
The agreement was signed in October following discussions dating back months. It also follows the acquisition of CSD by communications and security products distributor Anixter in May this year.
“The recent acquisition of CSD by global security distributor, Anixter, has once again presented us with a world-renowned, quality brand,” CSD general manager for products and marketing Mark Edwards said.
“We are excited about the opportunities that Axis presents, and are pleased that our enterprise camera solution range is now complete. This will allow us to effectively compete in all vertical markets.”
