NetSuite OneWorld announces SuiteCloud Connect

It delivers a cloud-based software system to manage complex, multinational and multi-subsidiary business operations integrating existing SAP implementations.

This includes invoices, purchase orders, shipments, inventory adjustments, invoicing, and order and payment integration with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

For example, using SuiteCloud Connect for SAP, a user could roll-up general ledger, order and revenue information from NetSuite to SAP for aggregate financial reporting purposes.

"The SAP connector announcement (and the SFDC connector) will excite our partners and resellers we have in A/NZ," said Daniel Wilmott, marketing manager APAC NetSuite.

"In the current economy where companies are struggling to keep IT costs down, this announcement gives NetSuite resellers a huge business opportunity to go to the divisions and subsidiaries of SAP customers with a more functional, less expensive and less complex cloud-based solution.

"Channel partners can either work with NetSuite to offer the SuiteCloud Connect for SAP integration to their customers, or leverage their own best-practice expertise using the SuiteCloud platform to achieve the same result.

"This will broaden the appeal of the NetSuite solution to businesses due to its compatibility, functionality and ease of integration into their existing systems; which, as a result will broaden the market size available to our partners," he added.

NetSuite's SuiteCloud Connect for SAP is based on a number of industry standard technologies used for systems and application integration and data migration, including SOAP (Web Services), JavaScript, ODBC and CSV.

Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite said it enables large companies to keep their investment in legacy business applications, while deploying a modern, web-based business application suite that reduces costs and helps make their divisions more competitive and employees more productive.
