Thin client vendor, Neoware, has dropped Cellnet and Conexus and appointed Infotronics Software to serve as a value added distributor for its solutions and services in Australia.
Infotronics already provides existing support of technology products that enhance existing IT infrastructure and address requirements in server-based computing, application/server virtualisation, security, disaster recovery, and system-based utilities.
Michael Crocombe, channel manager for Infotronics Software said the addition of Neoware will compliment the organisation’s existing expertise and understanding of the thin client computing market.
“As part of the agreement, Infotronics is creating a dedicated team of Neoware sales specialists who will provide sales and logistics support to Neoware customers in the region,” he said.
Michael McGrath, managing director Asia Pacific, Neoware, said working closely with channel partners is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction over the long-term while meeting the growing interest in solutions like our Neoware m100 which provides mobile users with a productive and secure computing platform.
“Neoware thin clients and software enable organisations to improve the security, manageability, and reliability of their desktops, while reducing both up-front and ongoing costs,” he said.
“In addition, Neoware thin clients can be made virtually immune from standard PC viruses and other security threats, significantly improving information security, reliability and backup/recovery operations.”
As part of its channel restructure, Neoware has discontinued its relationship with Cellnet and Conexus but will maintain an existing relationship with Integer Technologies, said McGrath.
