Melbourne-based managed service provider Mobilise IT has partnered with UK mobile security vendor Wandera in Australia.
Mobilise IT will provide distribution, marketing, sales and support for Wandera's mobile security and management product, Secure Mobile Gateway. Wandera will be available immediately to Optus business customers through an integrated solution.
Sure Mobile Gateway's three main solutions are data management, compliance and security. It layers on-device security with an in-line cloud proxy to gain visibility for all mobile data traffic.
Mobilise IT chief executive George Deligiannoudis said Wandera was a perfect fit for its enterprise mobile management product portfolio.
"As the largest independently owned mobility managed services company in Australia we have customers around the country struggling to control the volume of devices, security, and cost of their mobile data," said Deligiannoudis.
"They rely on us to keep them abreast of innovative solutions to help their businesses, so we are looking forward to introducing them to Wandera.”
Mobilise IT has offices in Brisbane and Sydney and more than 60 employees and customers such as Flight Centre, Gold Coast City Council, Victoria University, and ANZ.
The company recently hired Samsung and Acer sales veteran Michael Cefai as its first national sales director.
Wandera was founded in 2013 and now has customers in more than 60 countries.
