MicroStrategy has hired DXC Technology's former national sales lead Lesley French to lead its business in Australia and New Zealand.
French joins the enterprise analytics and mobile software vendor with close to 20 years' experience under her belt. She was previously a director for BI and performance management software vendor Cognos for more than 20 years, which was acquired by IBM in 2007.
She was most recently sales manager for Agile Analytics and after spending a year in the national sales role at DXC. Her career also includes stints at Microsoft and Agile BI.
In her new role, French will lead the MicroStrategy's teams in Australia and New Zealand, managing sales and alliances, marketing and business development, pre-sales, customer's success and support and professional services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lesley with her wealth of leadership experience at leading software companies and know she will be an incredible asset to the team and our customers,” regional vice president Eric Sin said.
“Her experience will help fast-track our success in the ANZ market as we engage with new businesses to help them on their journey to become a more intelligent enterprise.”
French replaces former general manager Ryan Blackwood, who left the role in January to take up a new position at TechnologyOne as regional general manager for Queensland.
"I’m excited to join MicroStrategy and look forward to supporting our customers’ growth and success,” French said.
