Microsoft salutes top-performing SMB partners at conference

Microsoft has once again treated its top-performing small to medium-sized business partners to a weekend of "luxury" before the Australian Partner Conference (APC).

As part of the SMB Highflyers program, all Microsoft partners were challenged to sell Office, Windows Server and cloud through authorised volume license distributors, Ingram Micro, Rhipe, Synnex and Dicker Data.

From 1 April to 30 June, partner earned points based on sales, with cloud sales being multiplied by three, with the top 16 partners named as SMB Highflyers.

The winners were Brennan IT, Leading Edge Group, Datacom, Anittel, Xcentral, IT Logic, Logicalis Australia, Computer Systems Australia, Rico Australia, Seek Technology, Insight, Area9, Triforce, ITRO, NGage Technology Group and A2K Technologies.

Each partner received a ticket to Microsoft’s Australian Partner Conference on the Gold Coast, return flights and four nights’ accommodation. SMB Highflyers were also treated to exclusive events, including an exclusive sunset drinks event at the Q1 hotel, followed by dinner at Room 81 at the Sofitel hotel.

Special guests included Microsoft worldwide partner lead Gavriella Schuster and Australian partner lead Phil Goldie.
