Melbourne headquartered ESG&I, which provides environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting services, has appointed Peter Blackmore and Caroline Chan as partners and principal consultants, based in Perth, Western Australia.

The Perth appointments aim to expand ESG&I's national capabilities and strengthen its position in delivering sustainability solutions across Australia.

Peter Blackmore brings over 30 years of senior executive experience to the role, including 17 years as a divisional chief executive within a large publicly listed business conglomerate.

Blackmore is a sustainability advocate, having completed a climate change related Master's thesis in 2003 and held roles such as director of global business engagement at Walk Free and WA managing partner for Environmental Resources Management.

Caroline Chan meanwhile joins ESG&I with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and investment banking.

She currently serves as a non-executive director for an ASX 200 resources company, where she chairs the sustainability committee.

The above appointments come as ESG&I continues to scale nationally, enhancing its ability to deliver world-class sustainability solutions to organisations of all sizes.

ESG&I describes itself as a pioneer in the environmental, social, governance ad impact space, and has developed an AI-powered platform called ChatESG.

The company aims to democratise access to expert ESG advice, ensuring that organisations of all sizes, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, can integrate sustainable practices into their operations.
