The assets of failed ispONE have been acquired by Melbourne-based Conec2 Group.
The acquisition includes all 29 employees and ispONE's 61,000 customers.
Cameron Adams, group chief executive of Conec2, said: "We have undergone strong growth in the past few years, resulting in Conec2 now supplying services to some of Australia’s largest businesses and retail service providers.
"This timely acquisition of the ispONE assets fits in well with our strategy to grow the business further both in Australia and in the Asian region."
A spokesperson for Conec2 said: "The terms of the transaction are confidential."
A Ferrier Hodgson spokesperson told CRN that the sale of assets does not include the debt, whcih remains with the company under administration.
Telstra has claimed $31 million in debt payments, while ispONE’s administrators said preliminary investigations indicated Kogan Mobile was owed up to $40 million, with Kogan submitting a claim for more than $44 million.
The pair are just two of around 80 creditors seeking reimbursement from ispONE’s administrators.
As part of today's deal, Conec2 will provide services to Aldi Mobile, along with ispONE's integrated billing operations & support system (iBOSS), as well customers across its brands ONEseniors, One Mobile and One Telecom.
However, no mention was made of Kogan Mobile, which took centre stage as the ispONE drama unfolded.
Stewart McCallum, partner at administrator Ferrier Hodgson, said the sale had high interest and that "a large number of parties came forward".
"Many were credible buyers and the level of interest drove a competitive bidding process," said McCallum in a statement.
Conec2 was founded in 2002 and has customers across Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia.
