Lenovo recognised local partners at its ANZ business partner awards held at the Opera Point Marquee in Sydney last week.
Staples was named Australian partner of the year, having won growth partner of the year at last years’ awards.
Karl Sice, head of Staples Technology Solutions, said the back-to-back awards celebrated the relationship between the two companies, and reflected the work they had put into developing a joint go-to-market strategy.
“Our relationship comes down to not just good results, but developing great programs that really drive demand into the market place and developing a joint strategy,” said Sice. “We’ve developed where we want to play together so this really celebrates that milestone.
“I’m very proud and excited. Lenovo is one of our big three relationships, and we regard it as a strategic partner to grow further.”
Brennan IT was awarded growth partner of the year this time around.
Other winners were distributor of the year going to Synnex, innovative partner of the year to JB Hi-Fi Solutions (formerly JB Hi-Fi Education), new partner of the year to Leading Edge Group, enterprise business partner of the year to Meridian IT and New Zealand partner of the year to Acquire.
