Local distie Aria Technologies has partnered with Macquarie Telecom to bundle IP telephony and unified communications with voice and data services to deliver customised solutions for mid-sized Australian businesses.
Macquarie will deliver multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) while Aria will provide internet telephony and UC technology from Swedish developer Ericsson.
Aria chief executive officer Rob Pierce said it would enable the companies to deliver a "truly differentiated customer experience”.
“Macquarie Telecom is recognised as Australia’s premier provider of hosting, data, and telecommunication services to business, which greatly complements the strengths of our business,” Pierce said.
“Aria is well-known for providing quality customer premises equipment that is backed by extensive local engineering support.”
Nigel Raiss, partner account executive at Macquarie Telecom said the company’s partner programs have the broadest offerings and best value to the mid-sized corporate market.
“We are bundling Aria’s proven communications solutions with our Intellicentre data centre and multi-carrier network solutions, so our customers benefit from the combined focus and expertise of our respective organisations.”
He said Ericsson's session initiated protocol, management tools and disaster recovery configuration though Macquarie’s integrated management portal round out the service.
