Logicalis Australia named Microsoft's 2024 Azure partner of the year

Logicalis Australia has announced it has been named Microsoft's Australia and New Zealand Azure Partner of the Year for 2024.

The company attributed this recognition to its capabilities in cloud migration, digital transformation and collaboration.

Logicalis was recognised for delivering an Azure migration for Western Sydney University (WSU), which involved overcoming challenges including exiting its datacentre within six months and modernising its legacy infrastructure.

“Logicalis Australia is honoured to receive this award from Microsoft. It’s a testament to the team at Logicalis Australia and their commitment to delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive business value for customers through excellence and acknowledges our long-standing relationship with Microsoft," said Anthony Woodward, CEO of Logicalis Australia.

“Logicalis’ success is built on a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and the innovative use of Microsoft technologies to solve complex business challenges in a cost-effective, secure and agile way. The Logicalis Australia team is delighted to receive this accolade from Microsoft, having worked tirelessly to achieve this milestone. We remain committed to continuing this journey of excellence and innovation with Microsoft.”

Logicalis said the award is a "strong vote of confidence" as the company continues to expand its Azure capabilities.

“Logicalis’ winning solution for WSU exemplifies its strategic approach to cloud adoption, leveraging Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework to create a secure, scalable, and futureproof Azure environment," said Karina Foley, IT operations manager at WSU.

"The meticulous planning, detailed analysis, and collaboration with key stakeholders here at WSU ensured a seamless transition and the successful deployment of over 250 production workloads on Azure.”

The recognition follows Logicalis Hong Kong achieving the 2024 Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Partner of the Year award and Logicalis Singapore's recognition as a finalist for the global Security Partner of the Year award.

“I’m immensely proud of the work our partners have accomplished this year. It’s inspiring to see how they’ve harnessed the full range of Microsoft technologies to deliver innovative solutions, drive significant impacts across numerous industries and make a real difference in our communities," said Microsoft ANZ chief partner officer Vanessa Sorenson in a blog about the Partner of the Year awards.

'Together, we truly are empowering every person and organisation to achieve more. Our partners’ dedication and ingenuity exemplify the transformative power of the Microsoft network, and I am honoured to celebrate their achievements.”
