Liquidator investigates failed reseller Premier Technology

The liquidator for Melbourne reseller, Premier Technology, has said creditors aren’t likely to see a cent of the $300,000 owed to them.

Premier Technology was placed in the hands of CJL Partners on 14 June, by the Supreme Court of Victoria.

CJL spokesperson, Richard Cauchi said the court appointed the business advisory firm as a liquidator, when distributor BlueChip took the reseller to court in an attempt to recover monies owed.

Cauchi said the total debt amount equalled $300,000. Other creditors included Achieva and eSys.

Brett Bradley operations director Bluechip Infotech said the company didn’t have a personal guarantee with the reseller.

“Premier Technology owes us $122,000. We were dealing with Premier and they have stripped the assets of that company into a new company,” he said.

Cauchi said CJL was currently writing a report for ASIC on the state of the failed reseller.

“Premier was trading as Computer’s Here, before we were appointed the company ceased to operate as Computer’s Here. That name and its precious little assets were sold off to June Ivy Pty Ltd, before a liquidator was appointed,” he said.

“The person currently running Computer’s Here is a man named Howard, who is the husband of Rebecca Sui, the previous owner of Premier Technology.”

Cauchi said some of the the issues raised needed to be passed onto the correct law enforcement agencies to determine whether or not an investigation was warranted.

The failed company is not associated with Melbourne software integrator Premier Technologies.
