Lenovo unveils hybrid cloud advisory services for partners

Lenovo wil launch a new Hybrid Cloud Advisory Services that aims to assist channel partners and resellers in delivering tailored hybrid cloud solutions to their enterprise customers.

The Chinese tech giant's latest offering seeks to address the growing demand for modernised infrastructure capable of supporting artificial intelligence workloads and complex data management.

Lenovo's new service is set to launch for channel distribution in September 2024.

It promises to simplify the intricate process of hybrid cloud design.

With expert consultants who will guide enterprises through their hybrid cloud needs, potentially reducing implementation time to as little as six weeks, Lenovo believes.

For most IT departments, cloud transformation could be challenging, Dale Aultman, vice president and general manager of Hybrid Cloud Services at Lenovo Group explained.

"Our most recent global CIO report revealed that 82 per cent of respondents found cloud transformation challenging", he said.

The new advisory services aim to address these challenges by offering customised strategic expertise and tech-agnostic advice, Lenovo said.

Pre-validated solutions and end-to-end support is also on the table from Lenovo.

For channel partners, Lenovo's comprehensive approach could prove valuable those looking to enhance their cloud service offerings and tackle the complexities of hybrid cloud environments for their clients.

Research from Futurum Group suggests that hybrid deployments are twice as common as public cloud for AI workloads, and a potential market opportunity for partners.
