Leader appoints David Nichols as UniFi national education and corporate manager

David Nichols has been named to the role of UniFi national education and corporate manager within Leader.

Nichols was previously the ICT operations manager of Central Coast Grammar School.

This role will focus on partner enablement to open the door for education, government, commercial and industrial applications.

Last week, it was announced that Leader is now the exclusive distributor for the UniFi Partner Program in Australia. 

The UniFi Partner Program introduces a framework of tools, resources, and support to help resellers grow their UniFi business, including deal registration, sales and technical training, marketing support, and priority access to new products. 

Leader's director of enterprise, Ben Klason, said having been part of the UniFi community for over seven years, Nichols has an extended network of IT professionals around him, many whom he has consulted for in previous years.

"In this new role David will be leading partner success for IT Integrators, MSP’s & National Corporate partners," he said.

Nichols said he looks forward to collaborating with education and corporate resellers to help them provide scalable, secure, and cost-effective networking solutions.

"I have a strong passion for reducing IT costs for schools, ensuring that more funds are available for classroom needs," he said.

"In this new role, I am eager work the partners to help customers keep their costs down on networking, CCTV and access system and more.”
