Online electronics reseller Kogan has recalled a charger commonly bundled with its phones and tablets.
The Kogan 2.1 amp USB charger with model number KAUSBXXADPC, according to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission this week, carries a "risk of electric shock".
"The enclosures of the plug portion can separate allowing access to live parts," said the consumer watchdog on its product safety recalls website.

The charger, which was sold nationally through Kogan.com.au both individually and bundled with other products, has been recalled immediately. The affected units were sold between 5 November last year to 26 June this year.
"Consumers should stop using the charger immediately and contact Kogan to arrange a credit or full refund for the product," stated the ACCC.
The number of units affected and the nature of compensation for customers who received the charger as part of a larger bundle were not disclosed.
CRN contacted Kogan but did not receive a response.
