Kinetic IT has appointed Kishore Jayaram as chief transformation officer, effective immediately.

Jayaram’s role is new to Kinetic IT, and the company said the creation of the position reflects its next phase of evolution, from managed services to a more diversified, growth-oriented and AI-enabled services organisation.

As chief transformation officer, Jayaram will take responsibility for expanding Kinetic’s market presence through the development of new sovereign digital services, along with strengthening strategic partnerships and bringing what the company calls ‘differentiated solutions’ to market.

He’ll be based in Melbourne, and has more than two decades experience in strategy, consulting and senior commercial leadership. He’s previously held roles at McKinsey, Accenture, Cisco and Thoughtworks. Most recently Jayaram was strategy and growth lead at NCS Australia, where he helped shape the organisation’s strategic direction and AI transformation agenda.

“Few organisations reach a moment where they can fundamentally reshape their trajectory, and Kinetic IT is in one such moment. Backed by strong leadership, deep industry trust, and a clear mandate for growth, the focus now is on building on that strength – scaling new sovereign, AI-enabled solutions for customers in ways that truly differentiate us,” Jayaram said.

“I’m energised by what we can unlock. By combining Kinetic IT’s uniquely Australian position with the accelerating force of AI, we have a real opportunity to deliver new value and support the vital sectors our nation relies on.”

Kinetic’s chief executive, Dean Langenbach, commented that Jayaram is joining the company at a pivotal time as it invests in new capabilities, services and growth initiatives designed to shape the organisation’s future direction.

“With [Jayaram’s] expertise complementing our leadership team, Kinetic IT is strongly positioned to support the evolving digital needs of government and critical services across Australia," Langenbach said.
