Kiandra IT is working with Swinburne University of Technology to offer graduate positions.

The Melbourne-based managed services provider will offer position to "to talented and passionate software development students with outstanding technical capability".

Graduates who are accepted into the program will be exposed to all divisions of Kiandra's software development arm over the course of the 12-month program.

Professor John Grundy Dean expressed high hopes for the partnership and emphasised the benefits for graduates. "This graduate program will allow our graduates to make headway in a highly competitive industry. The program will not only hone technical skills but will provide valuable experience and accelerate their career progression.

"Swinburne's close industry ties have been a major part of the university's initiatives and the Kiandra IT graduate program is another opportunity to push forward the experience so students can develop their own connections with industry."

This year's applications for the graduate program are closed but the application process for next year's intake is set to begin in December 2014.
