The man behind PK Business Advantage (PKBA), a new IT and communications company, Peter Kazacos has recently acquired technology services company Invizage Pty Ltd from Sensis, creating a local IT solutions provider for small-to-medium sized enterprises.
The acquisition means PKBA will expand its national reach and sees the company with additional offices in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney.
This will complement our established operations in Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie, as well as Adelaide and Sydney,” Kazacos said.
The purchase of Invizage will give PKBA a full national network and is the company’s fourth acquisition in six months.
PKBA has already acquired regional-based IT companies in South Australia, North Queensland and Tasmania, forming a national team of 80 employees. The acquisition of Invizage will grow PKBA’s business to more than 6,000 customers and 150 staff, said Kazacos, managing director at PKBA.
“Invizage is recognised as one of Australia’s leading small business IT providers and the acquisition will result in PKBA becoming Australia’s largest IT company serving the SMB market,’’ Kazacos said.
“It also means PKBA will rank in the top 20 Australian owned IT services operations in Australia.’’
Invizage was established in Melbourne in 1995 and has won a string of awards including BRW Fast 50, Telstra Small Business Awards and Dunn & Bradstreet Victorian Business Award.
Invizage is a leader in managed services for small to medium business and has strong relationships with companies such as Microsoft, IBM, HP and Symantec.
General Manager Sensis Interactive, Chris Smith, said the sale of Invizage to PKBA ensured the business would continue to play a key role in the IT-services market for small business.
“For Sensis, the sale of Invizage is a result of our focus to aggressively grow and manage our core advertising and local search business.
