Telstra-owned service provider KAZ has appointed Tony Gold as CIO to manage all functions within KAZ Business Services and its superannuation administration arm AAS.
Gold had skills in multi-sector superannuation, consulting and IT experience including previous roles with Superpartners and Financial Synergy, the company said in a statement.
He would concentrate on AAS’ IT, including new software platform Atune, which provided a “best practice” service to superannuation clients, the company said.
Stuart Korchin, managing director at KAZ Business Services, said Gold’s appointment would bolster AAS’ capability to deliver developments the company’s clients needed.
Gold would be starting initially with the rollout of Atune for corporate fund administration, he said.
“This has been developed in partnership with REST to manage defined contribution, defined benefit and hybrid funds all on the same system and is now ready for wider distribution,” Korchin said.
