The technology creates a virtual image that allows users to fully backup entire networks without having to load the images onto a backup server on a monthly basis.
Tim Dickinson, regional director A/NZ at Kaseya, told CRN that the solution integrates into their existing Kaseya framework.
“The ability to automate processes and report back enables them to provide a simpler and more cost effective solution to their customers,” he said.
“What this means to the customer is now, instead of having to wait for a problem to occur within these areas, their integrator is already aware of the pending problem and can proactively manage the remediation prior to any customer downtime.”
He claimed that both products contain a gamut of updates allowing integrators to optimise these improved efficiencies.
“KES 2.0 features anti-virus, anti-spyware and rootkit detection, and includes a faster scanning machine with AVG 8.0 File Server Edition Technology,” said Dickinson.
“BU-DR 3.0 has further automated backup services for MSPs with its Incremental Forever Backup Option and Synthetic Full Backups.”
According to Dickinson, KES is being unveiled to integrators via a staged deployment allowing a seamless transition through its customer base. BUDR will be rolled out in similar fashion from the 11th of December.
As with all Kaseya modules, pricing is based on agents' requests.
