Managed service provider Kaseya International has formally announced the launch of its Australian presence.
The firm has confirmed more than 50 service provider and system integrator customers and appointed managed services guru Tim Dickinson as country manager for A/NZ.
Gerald Blackie, chairman and chief executive at Kaseya, said the firm has recently opened new offices in Europe, A/NZ and South America and the company is on target to increase annual bookings revenue by a further 40 to 50 percent.
“The traditional break/fix model, the core of SME IT services, is making way for new and improved proactive, automated managed service delivery,” said Blackie.
Dickinson said: “It is an exciting time for integrators to get into managed services and we can enable them to provide this to multiple SMEs. The SME market is super sensitive to price and our offering is well priced plus quick and easy to deploy.”
Martin Ashby, executive vice president for APAC at Kaseya, said the firm has recently witnessed 300 percent year-on-year growth.
“We have regional offices with a new one in Sydney. So we have well and truly arrived in A/NZ,” said Ashby. “We have been running seminars and inviting the local channel to talk to us. Resellers can download from the internet a 30 day trial. It is a case of reaching that SME channel through the resellers.”
Mathew Dickerson, senior network consultant at NSW-based Kaseya reseller Axxis Technology, said the firm has a guaranteed fixed income when supplying Kaseya.
“Deploying Kaseya frees us up to fully support our customers while engineers can interact with clients better. This could lead to clients buying more hardware and doing more forward planning,” said Dickerson.
