Kaseya extends Network Operations Center (NOC) Assist offering
Automation software vendor Kaseya has broadened its new Network Operations Center (NOC) assistance offering through the company’s emPower Program. The new initiative will enable IT solution providers to leverage the expertise of the global Kaseya team to expand their services without adding additional staff or overhead.

Combined with Kaseya’s IT Monitor Assist program - launched in September 2007 as the Kaseya’s emPower Program’s initial Out-Tasking offering - NOC Assist gives managed service providers (MSPs) the ability to extend their staff by bundling private labeled NOC services for basic remediation, routine preventive maintenance and pro-active monitoring of servers, said Dan Shapero, senior vice president of marketing at Kaseya.

“Our out-tasking offerings enable them to provide exceptional, round-the-clock support without having to sleep beside their laptop or hire extra staff. Through the Kaseya NOC Assist program, MSPs are able to rely on Kaseya to handle many of their basic day-to-day tasks, giving them the chance to better utilise their resources to expand their service offerings and gain competitive advantage in the marketplace,” claimed Shapero.

Through NOC Assist, Kaseya provides round the clock basic troubleshooting and remediation of common server problems as well as escalation of issues to customers via a ticketing system and/or via phone, email or pager. Assist also offers suggested resolution to ticketed issues and application of Microsoft security updates.

Shapero said in addition to the launch of the NOC Assist program, Kaseya is enhancing its existing IT Monitor Assist offering. The service has now been updated to provide updated monitoring and event sets, categorization and prioritization of alerts, and weekly reporting including machine health and monitoring summary reports. IT Monitor Assist also features a new automated escalation system, which sends alert escalations to phones, email, pagers, SMS and more.

“The NOC Assist and IT Monitor assist offerings make up just one element of Kaseya’s emPower Program, which is also comprised of Education and Toolkit offerings,” he said.

“The initiative was developed to provide a set of service offerings and support resources designed to ensure successful implementation of Kaseya’s IT Automation Framework and to aid MSPs in their transition to managed services.”
