Juniper Networks enhances its J-Partner Program

The program includes several new partner segments as well as product and service specialisation opportunities, enablement tools and resources.

The announcement follows two years of product developments from Juniper and sees the company progress from a product based technology provider to a solution based company.

 According to Rob Finn, Enterprise Channels, A/NZ (pictured), it was a 'natural evolution for the company.

"When we first launched our partner program we only had a couple of products, but in the last three to four years we have enhanced our enterprise product set pretty significantly.

"On reflection we have moved from being a product vendor to a solutions vendor," he said.

 "Now our partners can specialise in solutions rather than product."

Finn said the J-Partner Program was a solution based partner program, enhancing the services its partners deliver to customers adhering best practice with them.

The new J-Partner Managed Services Provider, J-Partner Consultants and J-Partner Service Provider Infrastructure Programs now join the core J-Partner program to acknowledge and identify Juniper partners who go-to-market with these business models. 

These new enhancements and programs allow J-Partners to engage with Juniper Networks in the way that best fits their business model and the customers they serve. 

All of Juniper's products are now accessed by partners through one of three product specialisation areas including Advanced Security, Network Infrastructure, which includes the company's EX Series Ethernet Switches and Advanced Network Infrastructure.

Juniper has also launched a new segment program designed for partners with established practices selling to and supporting service providers. 

Formerly part of the core J-Partner Solution Provider program, the new J-Partner Service Provider Infrastructure Program acknowledges partners who design and deploy networking solutions for service providers. 

The program enables partners to access Juniper Networks' service provider solutions materials, sales tools and marketing support.
