IronKey appoints Australia sales manager from Sophos
Tony Stratton

Mobile security vendor IronKey has appointed Tony Stratton as regional sales manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Stratton will be responsible for managing IronKey’s Australian channel, as well as growing sales for the company’s secure storage USB devices.

Prior to joining IronKey, Stratton was an enterprise account executive for security software vendor Sophos for two years. His resume also includes a four-year stint as sales manager for SMS eTechnologies and a year as enterprise account manager for McAfee.

Stratton said he was looking forward to working with IronKey’s channel partners, which includes financial services firms, a health department and education institutions.

“IronKey Windows To Go devices offer Australian and New Zealand businesses and government departments the opportunity to mitigate risk while boosting productivity for their mobile workforce as well as allowing IT departments to manage encrypted devices so that they can track and ultimately destroy any data which is lost or stolen,” he said.

Last month, IronKey launched its US$100 32GB USB drive that boots to a version of Windows 10. The device allows IT administrators to lock down a USB-based mobile desktop that that can be used on most Windows PCs and Macs.
