The agreement will see the value added distributor supplying ADDCOM’s range of headsets, conference phones, switches, handsets and accessories.
Paul Scanlan, general manager at IPL Communications, said their partners will now benefit from an even greater range of telecommunication products.
“At IPL we have never tried to be all things to all people, but focus on delivering value added products and services to our channel. ADDCOM’s products complement our existing product range and allow us to offer more comprehensive communications solution to our partners,” he said.
The distributor intends to pursue further partnerships through the year to continue to fill out its product offering, said Scanlan.
“The ADDCOM agreement is the first of a number of third party vendor agreements that IPL Communications plans to establish in 2008 as we expand our offering to allow us to develop ever more effective solutions and add further value to the sales cycle for our partners,” he said.
Andrew Owens, marketing manager at ADDCOM, said that their products are now in "good hands".
“IPL have a great relationship with their partners, we look forward to this agreement leading to more ADDCOM headsets on the desks across Australia. While ADDCOM has recently been moving towards its global business model it is still very important that our products are successfully distributed in the place we call home."
All ADDCOM products are designed and engineered in Australia.
